1. Seller Responsibilities

By listing a vehicle on Auto Collectiv you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.

  • You own the vehicle or have the legal authority to advertise it.

  • All information supplied is true and accurate.

  • Photographs accurately represent the current condition of the vehicle.

  • The vehicle is legally permitted to be sold within Australia.

2. Listing Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of your listing.

This includes but is not limited to:

  • Price

  • Make and model

  • Year

  • VIN

  • Registration status

  • Kilometres

  • Modifications

  • Accident history

  • Finance owing

  • Mechanical condition

  • Photographs

Auto Collectiv does not verify listing information.

3. Contact Information

By listing your vehicle you consent to Auto Collectiv sharing your nominated phone number and email address with genuine prospective buyers.

4. Listing Fees

Listing fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable except where required under Australian Consumer Law.

A paid listing does not guarantee enquiries or a successful sale.

5. Selling Obligations

Sellers agree to:

  • Respond honestly to buyer enquiries.

  • Remove or mark the vehicle as sold once sold elsewhere.

  • Complete transactions legally.

  • Provide accurate documentation where required.

6. Prohibited Listings

You must not list:

  • Stolen vehicles.

  • Vehicles subject to fraudulent activity.

  • Vehicles you are not authorised to sell.

  • Vehicles advertised using misleading descriptions.

  • Offensive or unlawful content.

7. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Auto Collectiv from any claims, disputes, losses or legal action arising from your listing or sale of a vehicle.

8. Right to Remove Listings

Auto Collectiv reserves the right to refuse, edit, suspend or remove any listing or account at any time, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe it breaches these Terms or may negatively impact the integrity of the marketplace.

9. Licence to Use Images

By uploading images, videos and content you grant Auto Collectiv a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, reproduce, modify, resize and use that content for marketing, advertising and promotional purposes while your listing is active and for a reasonable period after the listing has ended.

10. AI & Image Editing

Sellers may use image enhancement tools provided the vehicle is not materially misrepresented. Images that significantly alter the appearance or condition of the vehicle may result in listing removal.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Auto Collectiv's total liability arising out of or relating to the use of the platform will not exceed the amount paid by the seller for the relevant listing.
